David Somerville CFP, CSA
A graduate of Niagara College, David received a diploma in Marketing Management in 1990 and began a successful career in the financial planning industry in 1993.
David specializes in providing comprehensive financial advice to business owners entrepreneurs and the individual investor. His success in developing creative business strategies while adapting to a changing world is a continual inspiration to both his clients and colleagues.
David has been actively qualifying for the "Million Dollar Round Table" since 1998, an elite association that acknowledges the top 3% of financial professionals worldwide.
David has earned his CFP (Certified Financial Planner) and CSA (Certified Senior Advisor) designation. The letters"CFP" stand for Certified Financial Planners. The CFP marks identify individuals who are dedicated to the highest level of professionalism in providing financial planning advice. The CFP credential assures that the planner adheres to internationally recognized professional standards of competence and ethical practice as set in Canada by the not-for-profit Financial Planners Standards Council (FPSC). CFP standards include requirements in education, examination, experience and ethics.
A CSA, Certified Senior Advisor, is a professional dedicated to providing the highest quality of services possible to their Boomer and Senior clients.
David took to the airways in 2006 and hosted 52 Financial Planning shows on a local radio station. The show was called "Networth". The show covered the six Pillars of Financial Planning: Retirement, Investment, Estate, Taxation, Law and Insurance.
A native of Niagara Falls, David now happily resides there with his wife Cassandra, son Drake and daughter Olivia.
